Amethyst Moon was conceived in 1997 and launched on the web in 1998. Back then we sold only book and some gifts, including our famous alien toys. But each year we grew. We added music and more books; it was however our alien toys that sold the best--something that surprised us. In 2011, all our alien toys are now gone--ET went home --and our direction changed. We became the Amethyst Moon Spiritual Education Center.
In 2000, we began teaching classes and workshops in the local area --north of Chicago. These included classes on angels, reincarnation, chakra balancing, and crystals. Our workshop and class material developed into several books, available for purchase in our Resource Center and still used as the foundation for our classes. One book of Blake Cahoon's is her Connecting with Angels, derived from a series of angel workshops--which we still hold--is available here and on Amazon.com.
Our mission has evolved over the years and we now are concentrating on providing education, tools and resources to the student who wishes to connect with the Divine.

In 2011, we're still growing -- our look has changed and will continue to do so over the next few months as our renewed mission is put into place.
We are now certified as a Reiki Blessings Academy teaching facility. This spiritual academy is accredited by the World Metaphysical Association and the Drugless Practioners of America. This is a high honor which we feel blessed to have accomplished and received.
