| Everyone has an opinion about this guy, along
with a long list of questions they’d ask if they met him in person. One
Last Time answered a lot of my questions, even if it didn’t do much
to dissuade my skepticism of his abilities. I found that the engaging,
likable demeanor he shows on television comes through clearly in this
book. A must for fans of his show.

| Each chapter is followed by a guided
meditation and visualization exercise designed to accelerate spiritual
growth. By learning how to quiet the mind we receive guidance from the
higher realms, a powerful energy source that we are all a part of. This
higher realm is the home of our Higher Selves and the Universal Mind or
Collective Unconsciousness.
I can honestly say that learning to empty my mind of extraneous thoughts to connect with the messages of the higher realms has resulted in a few clairvoyant experiences. Also I was able to manifest several desires and gain clarity about my day job. (l resigned last week.) It all seemed like magic to me. But as Ms. Roman writes, "Trust that the Universe is working FOR you and WITH you." The universe is not against us as we were raised to
believe, Ms. Roman points out. Life doesn’t have to involve hard work
and struggle all the time. If we see the universe as a friend, we can
achieve more freedom in our lives through non-attachment to things and
relationships, by "lifting the veil of illusion" and by
manifesting more of what we desire. Spiritual Growth will free us
to accept the riches that life offers us, feeling that we deserve the good
things that happen to us. By becoming our higher selves we learn to
believe that nothing is ever too good to be true. |
