Meet the Crystal Skulls
About Crystal Skulls
Crystal Skulls are human-shaped skulls carved in quartz crystal and other minerals. Today's contemporary crystal skulls are based on ancient artifacts discovered mainly in Mexico and other parts of South America, as well as being discovered in other parts of the word, including China. These ancient crystal skulls now reside either in museums or with individuals through a variety of means. Some of the more famous ancient crystal skull artifacts include the Mitchell-Hedges Skull discovered in 1927 and the British Museum Skull.
Although no archeologist is quite sure why these artifacts were created, many theories have been postulated including the skulls being used as a power tool for ancient worship rituals.
However, today's caretaker of crystal skulls have found profound metaphysical energies emanating from the skulls. It is well-known in metaphysical fields that quartz is an amplifier. This mineral has been used in radios, computers, lasers and other electronic equipment.
Psychics and channelers have made contact with the beings who
"reside" in the crystal skull. These entities have stated that
they originated beyond our star system and tell us that the ancient skulls
were
used as both communication and computer-like devices, as well as used for
healing purposes.
There are many legends and myths about crystal skulls and several authors have written about the skulls and brought them the attention that they deserve. One of these authors and caretaker of several contemporary skulls is crystal skull expert Joshua Shapiro, co-author of "Mysteries of the Crystal Skulls Revealed" and the book, "Journeys of a Crystal Skull Explorer", co-written with his wife, Blue Arrow Rainbow. A contemporary crystal skull is just what the name implies, a crystal skull carved today and whose size can range from a pea to beyond a human-sized skull. These contemporary skulls are hand-carved by experts mainly from Brazil and China. These skulls can be come activated from other activated skulls, as well as through sacred ritual. The power travels from one skull to the other. Properly activated skulls have been used to channel positive messages and shown to raise energies levels (heal) in people who are exposed and who meditate with the skull.
Crystal Skulls are available for sale by several individuals and companies. A search on the internet will find that several of these companies can be found on E-Bay.
Although technically, people don't actually "own" the skulls; rather skulls migrate to chosen individuals, who are ready for such an experience and as such they become 'caretakers' of the skulls. Together the caretaker and skull or skulls work together as a team to help bring harmony, light and healing to the world.
My own story with the crystal skulls began when I first met Joshua about the year 2000. He wrote an article for the Beyond Infinity Magazine, an on-line magazine that was published by Amethyst Moon Publications for about 4 years. My personal interest in crystal skulls, however, didn't happen until 2004. That story can be found in the link below.
My story continues as my collection of skulls grew over the years. In 2004, I cared for five skulls -- the Council of Five, is how they liked to be referred to -- but with slight tongue in cheek -- they do have a marvelous sense of humor! (Picture is 3 of my skulls, Harvey, Lucy and Arthur -- the Council of Three.) In late 2007, I know have over twenty skulls. Read all the stories of my growing collection!
